Quick Start

Want to jump right in? If you know the URL of the stream you want to capture, copy it to the clipboard. Then run Streambox VCR. Click the paste button :

When you click the paste button the New Item window will open. Click OK.

If you do not see a tool bar on the Streambox VCR, select the View menu and check the tool bar box. If you don't like using the tool bar, click the Edit menu and select Paste Link.

Then if everything is set up correctly, the stream should connect in a few seconds and you should see something like this. The two blue arrows indicate that you are successfully capturing your stream.

The file will be saved in the default download directory unless you have selected a different download directory. The default folder is named "received" in the directory where Streambox VCR is installed. The file name will depend on the stream you are capturing.

If you do not get the two blue arrows, something is wrong and it might be wise to read the rest of this Users Guide.
